A concise, German language biography of General Adolf Galland,
legendary WWII fighter ace. Galland was General der Jagdflieger -
commander of the Luftwaffe's fighter force from 1941 to 1945. He
claimed a total of 103 victories in 705 missions and was awarded
the Knight's Cross (Ritterkreuz) with oakleaves, swords and
diamonds, one of only 27 recipients of the highest German military
decoration.

General Galland with a dedication to a previous owner.

The author of this new book has compiled an unprecedented amount
of detail on all active Wehrmacht, SS and Luftwaffe Panzer divisions
from mid-1943 onwards, from the well known to the obscure. Topics
covered include Combat history, organization of the various
formations and units, deliveries of armor, monthly condition
reports, and attachments to higher formations. There is also a
comprehensive analysis of the development of the Panzer divisions
and how their structure and role changed as the war situation
deteriorated.

12 boasted the highest-scoring Allied fighter pilot, René Fonck,
