THE WALLONIEN

The History of the 5th SS-Sturmbrigade and the 28th Volunteer Panzergrenadier Division. Formed in Belgium from French speaking volunteers, they suffered heavy losses at Cherkassy. They were activated as a division in 1944, defended the Bonn area and were later transferred to the defence of Berlin. The Division was commanded by SS General Leon Degrelle, the Belgian fascist politician. This is the original A4 publication by Richard Landwehr.
