THE GERMAN ARMY HANDBOOK 1939-1945
by James Lucas

A comprehensive look at the German Army (das Heer) as it evolved during WWII. Features the parts played by the Waffen-SS and airborne forces - the Fallschirmjager. Although neither force was strictly part of the army, they fought as ground troops under Army commanders. ESTONIANS IN THE WAFFEN-SS
by Rolf Michaelis

Intended by Himmler as an elite National Socialist military formation, the Waffen SS had a strength of approximately 120,000 men at the beginning of 1940. Of the many foreign volunteers in the Waffen-SS there were approximately 35,000 Estonians. This is the history of the 20.SS Waffen-Grenadier-Division (estnische NR. 1). They fought most notably at the Narwa-Front, and later in Silesia. The book contains details of operations, equipment, training, personnel, commanders, honors and decorations.

RUSSEN IN DER WAFFEN-SS
by Rolf Michaelis

Brand new. German text. On 3 August 1944, following the 20 July assassination attempt on Hitler, SS Reichsfuhrer, Heinrich Himmler was appointed commander of the reserve army. Four days earlier, at the Wolfs Lair in East Prussia, 29. "RONA" (Russische Nr.1) and 30. (Russische Nr.2) Waffen-Grenadier-Divisions der SS, were formed. The fact that Himmler formed SS units from the Russian federations was paradoxical in view of Nazi views on Russian racial characteristics, but it clearly illustrated the Third Reich's dire situation at the time.

SS-HEIMWEHR DANZIG IN POLAND 1939
by Rolf Michaelis

A brand new book. This is the first English translation of Rolf Michaelis's account of this obscure World War II SS unit. In July 1939, SS-Heimwehr Danzig was formed from members of the III./4. SS-Totenkopf-Standarte "Ostmark," as well as from Danzig citizen volunteers to reinforce other existing Danzig units for the impending invasion of Poland. This book not only describes the political background that led to their deployment in September 1939, but also contains the combat recollections of former members and 100 photographs, and documents.

HITLER'S FIELD MARSHALS AND THEIR BATTLES
by Samuel W Mitcham

The first collected biography of Hitler's Field Marshals whose task was to conquer the world and establish the thousand year Reich. Some names stand out like Rommel, Keitel, Rundstedt and Manstein but others such as Schoerner, List and Weichs are less likely to be remembered.
