Updated edition of the story of the Special Air Service, 1950 to the first Gulf War. In addition to the original material which recounts the secret warfare and unpublicised military success of the regiment, this edition contains details of the near disaster during the Falklands war as well as the success of the retaking of South Georgia. Also the regiment's involvement in countering terrorism in Northern Ireland, the Gibraltar shootings and the untold role played by the SAS during the Gulf War in Kuwait and Iraq. This copy has no bibliography or index, but there is no indication that they have been removed - possible binding fault.
